MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR
Reviews loan application and clarifies or obtains additional information as needed. Verifies compliance with state and federal guidelines as well as FNMA and investor guidelines. Confirms loan application information by mailing verification forms; contracting verification sources. Orders credit report, land survey, building appraisal, tile, and related information. Identifies and assists in correcting documentation exceptions by highlighting deficiencies, notifying underwriter and supervisor. Increases and maintains job knowledge through educational opportunities and personal networks. Works well in a team environment where the primary focus is on the client.
Skills/Qualifications: 3-5 years experience, Organization, thoroughness with documentation, analytical and general math skills, adept with written and verbal communications, knowledge of Calyx Point, Word, Excel, and ACT preferred.
MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR
This position is part of Bay Bank’s Mortgage Originations Office and is responsible marketing, originating and negotiating permanent FHA/VA and conventional residential mortgage loans. Works independently to cultivate new mortgage business. Interviews applicants and independently assesses applicant’s credit worthiness. Negotiates terms and conditions of loan with mortgagors. Represents the bank in the community and related functions to identify, develop and promote additional business.
Basic Qualifications: Associates degree or two (2) Years relevant experience (preferred) Two (2) to three (3) years mortgage origination experience. Working knowledge of PCs and software programs for residential mortgage origination
Other Job information: Through knowledge of FHA/VA regulations, conventional loan requirements and real estate law; Proven sales ability; strong mathematical skills; Self-motivated, well-organized individual; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to interact with individuals at all income levels and peers in a professional manner; Demonstrated ability to work independently and to follow through on details to completion; Ability to work under critical time constraints.
EXPERIENCED TELLER
To perform routine banking and customer server duties, Including check cashing, withdrawals deposits an loan payments, managing and balancing cash drawers and posting financial transactions. Applicants must have two years cash handling experience. Competitve salary and full benefits
